Wow!   I loved this book!  EPIC! Highly recommend.  This has been in my to read pile for a while, but it seemed kinda long so I kept putting it off.  I saw it highly rated on Good Reads, so I started reading it without reading the back of the book.   I love being completely surprised by a book! 

Be careful when you make a deal with the devil.

Addie, in 1714 France, makes a desperate deal with the devil to live forever but cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets.  The book's double timeline follows Addie as she lives out her crazy circumstance over 300 years across centuries and continents and across history and art.  And the current timeline when she finally meets a man who remembers her name.   I love the love story, the locations, and how the author interweaves history and art- making Addie a muse across time.

Historical fiction and double timeline - always my favorite!
